In der vorletzten Schulwoche fand in der 3C ein Schwerpunktprojekt mit dem Fokus auf „Vocational Orientation“ statt. Die Klasse arbeitete in diversen Fächern (Englisch, Biologie und Umweltbildung, Geographie und wirtschaftliche Bildung, Geschichte und politische Bildung, Musik und Bildnerische Erziehung) an verschiedenen Aspekten zum Thema Berufsorientierung unterstützt von unseren Native Speakern.

Hier einige Eindrücke der Berufsorientierungswoche mit Englischschwerpunkt:

“The 3C pupils learnt about biology careers in biology lessons. As food technologists, they learnt about the composition of milk and the production of cream cheese.  Who knows, maybe we will see future cheesemakers here.“  

“In English, the class took a further look into their own personality, talents, preferences and future goals. A variety of online career tests were taken and student researched some jobs that they are interested in and presented their career choices in class.”

“On Wednesday, class 3C visited Schönbrunn Zoo as part of their careers guidance programme. This is one of Vienna′s most important tourist attractions and a sound knowledge of English is fundamental here. The pupils were informed about careers in the area surrounding the zoo. In addition to the important profession of animal caretaker, there are also vets, zoologists, gardeners, and people in administrative professions and gastronomy. The zoo offers many different career opportunities and perhaps today′s pupils will be working there in the future.”
